Mortgage interest rate

The interest rate on your mortgage depends on the risk class your mortgage falls into. In other words, how much risk does the lender run? Is that risk high? Then the interest you have to borrow on the amount to be borrowed will also be higher. If there is a low risk, such as a mortgage with National Mortgage Guarantee, then the interest rate is also lower.

When taking out a mortgage, our advisers take into account the interest rate applicable at the time of closing. But they also look at the maturity interest rate. This is the interest rate to be paid during the mortgage period. Sometimes the interest rate is low at the start, but the average interest rate is higher throughout the term. So then you are not always more advantageous.

Fortunately, you don't have to make these kinds of complicated financial considerations yourself. A Libero Expats financial expert will do that for you. We always look for the most favourable conditions for you personally.

National Mortgage Guarantee (NHG)

A mortgage with NHG is the safest mortgage you can take out. With this mortgage, you are in the lowest risk class and therefore pay less interest. You can also be sure that when you take out a mortgage with NHG, you will receive optimum support if you are temporarily unable to pay the mortgage charges in full or at all.
